Global Warming Politics

Just saw this post online, which seems really relevant to our class discussion yesterday on the role of scientists with differing political views and agenda, and the question of being fired or removed from posts for having differing views from political or scientific consensus, interesting read. In Summary from the post :

"Oregon state climatologist George Taylor, who may be fired by Gov. Ted Kulongoski for having views not in line with state policy on greenhouse gas reduction."

Yes -- highly relevant. Thank you. This blog is quite interesting.

A little blogging tip...When you want to put a link to another blog in your post, look for a button on the blog you want to link to that says "permalink." When you click on this, it will load the same blog post, but with a unique url that points to this entry alone. If you don't do this, the link will direct readers to the top of the blog, and the entry you wanted them to read will become buried under all the more recent posts. On a busy blog like accuweather's global warming blog, it becomes very difficult to find the post in question.

Steve, I've edited your post to put in the permalink (and added some labels)
